Day Plan
Your driver picks you up at 8:30 am from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. We leave the city and drive south towards the High Atlas Mountains.
Our first stop is the Asni Valley, a green valley surrounded by mountains, with panoramic stops to take photos.
We continue to the Imlil Valley, at the foot of Jbel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. Here you will take a short walk with a local mountain guide through walnut and apple trees, with amazing views of the mountains and Berber villages.
After that, we drive to the Ourika Valley along the river. You will visit a traditional Berber family home and enjoy mint tea with the family. You will also have free time for lunch in a local restaurant by the river.
In the afternoon, we drive back to Marrakech. Drop-off at your hotel or riad around 6:00 pm.

The walking is easy and short. In Imlil, you will walk about one hour with a local mountain guide on village paths. It is suitable for most people, including families with children.
Is lunch included?
Lunch is not included, so you can choose what you like. Your driver will stop at a local restaurant by the river in the Ourika Valley, where you can enjoy a traditional tagine at a reasonable price.
What should I wear and bring?
Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a light jacket, because it is cooler in the mountains than in Marrakech. Bring sunscreen, a hat, water and some cash for lunch and small purchases.
Can I do this trip in winter?
Yes, the trip runs all year. In winter, the mountains are often covered with snow, which makes the views even more beautiful. If the weather is very bad, we will contact you to change the date or the route.
