Your 6-Day Journey Through Morocco

Day 1:

Casablanca → Rabat → Meknes → Fez

Your private tour starts with a pick-up from your hotel in Casablanca. Explore the city’s main cultural landmarks before heading to Rabat for a guided tour of the capital. Continue through Meknes, famous for its grand gates and historic medina, before arriving in Fez for an overnight stay in a traditional riad or hotel.

Day 2:

Fes Sightseeing

Spend a full day exploring Fez, Morocco’s oldest city. Wander the narrow alleys of the medina and visit historic sites such as the Royal Palace gate, the first Mellah (Jewish quarter), and Al Qaraouine University. Discover the tanneries, Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, visit local cooperatives and enjoy a panoramic view over the medina before returning to your riad for the night.

Day 3:

Fes → Merzouga Desert

Depart Fez and drive through Azrou’s cedar forest, home to the famous Berber apes. Continue past Midelt and the Ziz Valley, stopping in Erfoud for a quick refreshment. Travel through Rissani to Merzouga. Swap your 4×4 for a camel ride (optional) and traverse the Erg Chebbi dunes to reach your desert camp. Enjoy a stunning sunset over the dunes, followed by dinner around a campfire and an overnight stay in Berber tents.

Day 4:

: Merzouga → Rissani → Todra Gorge → Dades Gorge

Wake early to witness the magical desert sunrise. Return to a local hotel to freshen up and have breakfast. Continue through Rissani and Tinghir to Todra Gorge, Morocco’s highest and narrowest gorge. After lunch, drive through the scenic Dades Valley, known for its rock formations called “Monkey Toes.” Overnight in the Dades Valley with dinner included.

Day 5:

Dades Gorge → Ait Ben Haddou → Tizi-n-Tichka → Marrakech

Drive through Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate, known as “African Hollywood,” with optional visits to a local film studio and Kasbah. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah before crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. Arrive in Marrakech for an overnight stay in a traditional riad within the medina.

Day 6:

Marrakech → Casablanca

After breakfast, explore Marrakech with visits to Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Tower, Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace. Enjoy free time in the afternoon for shopping or optional activities before returning to Casablanca, where your tour concludes.
