9 Days Tour From Casablanca to Marrakech via the Sahara Desert (private)

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, our Morocco Extra Tours driver will greet you and assist with transfers to each traveler’s accommodation.
If most flights arrive early and the group is settled, we can arrange a short city tour of Casablanca—visiting the Hassan II Mosque, the Habous Quarter, and the Corniche.
If flights are scattered, we keep this day for rest and begin the city tour the next morning. Relax and settle in for your first night.

After breakfast, depart for Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Visit major landmarks such as the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas.
After lunch, travel through the Rif Mountains toward the picturesque blue-washed town of Chefchaouen. Check in and enjoy a peaceful evening in the “Blue Pearl.

After exploring Chefchaouen, we drive toward Volubilis, the famous Roman archaeological site, followed by a short visit to Meknes.
Continue to Fes, where you will spend the night at your accommodation.

After breakfast, set off on a guided tour of Fes—the oldest of Morocco’s imperial cities. Discover the UNESCO medina, Al Quaraouiyine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, the traditional tanneries, and artisan quarters.
In the early afternoon, we travel toward Midelt, stopping in Ifrane (known as “Little Switzerland”) and passing through the cedar forests around Azrou, where Barbary macaques live freely.
Arrive in Midelt for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today, travel through the Ziz Valley toward Erfoud before reaching Merzouga at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Upon arrival, transfer to the desert camp by 4×4 or camel—depending on your booking option.
Enjoy dinner in the desert and spend the night in a private tent under the Sahara sky.

After sunrise and breakfast, depart toward the Todra Gorge—one of Morocco’s most stunning natural sites.
Continue through the Dades Valley, known for its kasbahs and dramatic landscapes.
By late afternoon, arrive in Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco,” where you will spend the night.

After breakfast, visit the famous film studios of Ouarzazate, then explore the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
Following lunch, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass and continue to Marrakech.
Check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided visit of Marrakech. Explore iconic sites such as the Majorelle Garden, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the lively souks around Jemaa el-Fna.
Spend the evening relaxing at your hotel.

Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a final visit to the Majorelle Garden and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum (optional).
We then arrange your transfer to the airport or your next destination.
